IT'S A BOY! Oh my goodness, we could not be happier to share the news about our sweet baby boy! We had the MOST fun at our gender reveal, and I cannot wait to share with you all of the details behind the decor and party! I really wanted to keep the decor as affordable as possible, so we did lots of DIYs!
Food: We had a brunch gender reveal, so we had friends and family bring food. We decided to make pink and blue desserts and drinks as well! We made blue and pink rice krispie treats, cake pops, and signature drinks! I'm certainly not the best baker, but I looked up some easy chocolate dipped cake pop recipes on Pinterest and they were super easy! :)
Activity: We thought it would be really fun to have a little raffle for team boy vs. team girl! We put two different jars out to vote for boy or girl, once the guest voted they grabbed a correlating blue or pink necklace to wear. After we found out the gender we pulled one name from the boy jar and the guest won a Starbucks gift card!
Decor: My most favorite part of throwing the party! We had so much fun with decor! I ordered a few little things on Amazon and made a balloon garland from Etsy! I was pretty intimidated to put together the balloon garland, but it honestly was not that bad! It took 2 hours to assemble between 3 people and there were 200 balloons. It comes with all of the necessary supplies, and we created the garland by threading the balloons through the plastic attachment and adding additional balloons to the center with glue dots. I absolutely loved how it turned out!
The Reveal: We used confetti poppers for our reveal and they were perfect! My best friend ordered 2 of the 12 inch poppers and they were absolutely perfect!
